Special Guest, LeRoy Lambert is President of the Society of Maritime Arbitrators, outside General Counsel to the Board of the American Steamship Owners Mutual Protection and Indemnity Association, and of counsel to the New York firm of Poles, Tublin, Stratakis & Gonzalez, LLP. He received his J.D. from Tulane and clerked for the Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court. LeRoy spent 25 years in private practice at the maritime firms of Healy & Baillie and Blank Rome and also served as General Counsel for the US representative of the Standard P&I Club. He is a Proctor Member of the Maritime Law Association and served on its Board of Directors from 2015-18, and is a member of the AAA Commercial Panel, the Houston Maritime Arbitrators Association, and the German Maritime Arbitration Association. LeRoy is a co-author of “Voyage Charters,” the leading treatise in the field of maritime law.
Episode Host, Aaron Gothelf is Regional Vice President of the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial Division for California. He serves as the National Chair of AAA’s Entertainment Practice, the Western U.S. Chair for AAA’s Technology Practice, and as an Ambassador for the AAA-ICDR Foundation. Aaron is a Council Member for the ABA’s Dispute Resolution Section of which he formally served as Educational Programming Officer. He is Chair of the ABA’s Forum on the Entertainment & Sports Industries, Motion Pictures & Television Division. Is a member of the ADR Committee for the Litigation Section of the California Lawyers Association, is Co-Chair of the Executive Committee for the Bar Association of San Francisco's Barristers Litigation Section, and is on the Advisory Board for the USC Gould School of Law Institute on Entertainment Law and Business. He holds a BA and MA from the University of Southern California, a J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law, and a Mediation Certificate from the Bar Association of San Francisco.
